Who's a good candidate for Telehealth?

Generally, people age 14 and up that are good at using technology.

Sometimes teens as young as 12 are a good fit for telehealth, but they have to have done telehealth or tele-schooling with success.

The client must have object permanence. This means people that understand that the person on the screen is human and does not follow them around.

Young children and certain people with TBI that would see the telehealth session like a tv show, would not be a good candidate.

People who do not have to touch their therapist to know that they are real.
